Before you start, you should ask Aidan (acathey@fca.org) for the link to your "program" or Huddle. Once you have the link, you can begin step one.

Step 1: Since you are new to volunteering with us, please follow these instructions to create an account - click in the box "Log in with FCA Account".

Go to the next screen and select "Create an account". Go through all the steps and log back in using the link provided.

Step 2: Once you are logged in, you should see the correct program and any roles you can apply to! 

If you do NOT know your role, please contact me at acathey@fca.org before moving forward.  

Step 3: Once you apply for your role, you will see a welcome message. Please read the Welcome Message. You should see a green-highlighted box labeled "Journey Progress". Click that, and on the next screen, you should see a triangle with an exclamation mark and the word Registration at the bottom left. Click on Registration. 

Registration has 10 pages:

·     1 - Registration (Personal Information)

·     2 - References (we try to tell people not to use family members and to notify their people right away to be looking for that email.)

·     3-6 - Christian Community Statement

·     7 - Spiritual Temperature

·     8 - Participant Waiver

·     9 - Athlete Safety Policy

·     10 - Behavior / Medical

Step 4: Background Check - Once Registration is completed, you should get an email from Asurint for your background check. It does cost $12.50. If you do not want to pay for it using PayPal, just select FCA. 

There is a checkbox if you would like to get a FREE consumer report. This is NOT required, and you would have to create an account with them.

Step 5: There are 2 trainings for most of our volunteers - EVERYONE needs to go through the Child Abuse Prevention training. This will take you an hour and is very important. Some of you might have E3 and/or Huddles. These are great and more informative about FCA.
